The hotel itself is beautiful, with Tunisian architectural touches, especially the little windows in the restaurant. The beach was crystal clear and calm, and the shore was well maintained and secured the whole time. But what really made this my most enjoyable hotel experience in Tunisia was the people at Ness Djerba. Everyone welcomed us so warmly, seemed genuinely happy to see Tunisians in Djerba, and treated us with such kindness. One morning they even surprised us with a really beautiful breakfast table. There’s so much to say about this place. If I recommend a hotel in Tunisia, Iliade will be first on my list. Merci Djerba w ness Djerba, you made the trip ten times more enjoyable. It took a lot to convince my dad to go to Djerba, but after last summer at Iliade, he can’t stop talking about it. He suggested making a summer visit to Iliade, Djerba a yearly ritual, and he hates traveling. Anyway, enjoy the pictures 🫶🏼

There’s a fun water park for kids, and the sea is easy to get to. The hotel is clean, and staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is good with lots of variety, and the spacious dining room always has seating, even for large groups. Recommended.

I arrived in Tunisia only to learn that this hotel had no rooms available and had moved my booking to another hotel. I’d paid for accommodation here, but nobody offered me alternatives or explained why the change had happened. I wasn’t consulted, and the replacement was somewhere I didn’t want to stay. If they were overbooked, they should have owned the mistake and handled it properly. I found the whole thing highly inappropriate.

The pools were fantastic, and the beach was tidy, with beautiful clear water. The beach bar’s selection was a bit limited, though. Food was excellent, especially the Italian section, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel is older, and you can see it in the chipped tables, worn tiles, and doors. Still, everything was very clean and well maintained, which mattered a lot. My one other small gripe was the coffee. I looked forward to a proper cup once I got home, but that’s minor. It was a pleasant, enjoyable stay.
