The safety and service here are unacceptable, even though the building itself seems structurally sound and the food is decent. Most staff speak very little English, so even basic communication is nearly impossible. There was a serious security problem during my stay: at least two families had cash stolen while their rooms were being cleaned. Rooms were cleaned regularly, but in my view housekeeping was being used to cover the thefts. The manager ignored the issue and avoided scheduled meetings about the incidents. On the beach, local scammers were constantly trying to rip people off. I strongly advise against visiting this resort.

The rooms impressed me. They're clean and spacious enough, with a little patio, bathtub and shower. Daily cleaning is available if you want it.

The food was incredible during our stay, with a range of Tunisian and local dishes and desserts. I felt a bit embarrassed that some of my fellow countrymen kept asking for chips or beef burgers instead of appreciating what was served. It is a buffet, so choose carefully if you want the warmest food. There are also day trips and excursions from the hotel that get you back in time for dinner. We visited in January 2025, which is low season, so the large seafront complex was very quiet. The main pool and communal spaces were spotless, a credit to the cleaning staff. The pigeons gathering outside the upper-level rooms were another matter, and need dealing with using bird spikes. Our room had a sea view, was spacious, and seemed recently updated. The cool nights meant we used the heating, which had a problem but was fixed quickly and expertly. Parts of the complex are showing their age, but it's perfectly fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope this review is useful. 3.5, if that were allowed.

The beach and excursions were the only good parts for us. The food was outrageous, and we ended up living on bread and pasta for the whole week. They want more British tourists to come to Djerba but don't cater well enough for them. Privacy was another major problem. I had the red 'do not disturb' card on the door while I was showering, but the cleaner knocked and opened the door straight away. Reception said they'd dealt with it, but two days later it happened again, this time without even a knock. There was no consideration for privacy. I'd steer clear of this hotel.
