TMK Marine Beach Hotel

At an all-inclusive resort in a hot beach location, drinking water should be a basic need. Here, the room gets just one bottle a day, and it only arrives after 9:30 PM. There are dispensers on the property, but guests aren't allowed to refill their own bottles. When I raised this with reception, all I got was, “It’s the hotel policy.” Nobody mentioned the restriction when I booked, and it falls well short of what I expect for the rating and price. I was shocked by this policy at TMK Marine Beach Djerba. I can't recommend the place, and I hope Booking/Tripadvisor consider this in future reviews.

The buffet breakfast made me feel like a prisoner, and the service was below even a minimally acceptable level. The AC in my room stayed out all night. When I told the front desk, they said I had to wait until the technician came to work at 8:15. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Don't book, even if it's free.

The restaurant team and chef deserve a lot of credit. The food was excellent, there was plenty of it, and the choice was wide. The bar staff were lovely too, and the animation team was amazing. Everyone at the hotel was attentive and willing to help. We stayed during the first week of October. It's a smaller, cozy hotel, with a spacious, clean room that was cleaned every day. The pool and beach were clean, and we could always find free sunbeds during the day. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. Bety and Vera.

Dirty beach, dogs wandering around on it, and stray cats near the food. The vendors on the beach beg, and the whole place feels scammy. WiFi was either missing or really poor, bottled water wasn't available, and the food was poor. The cups were dirty too.
