Hôtel Mezri

After reporting the awful room, the hotel offered us another room with a sea view, and we paid 90 TND for it. The first room was catastrophically dirty, even though it had been booked five hours before we arrived. I'd never had service or a welcome like that before. At 2 am, the receptionist's first words were that they had no towels. I still regret not sleeping in my car. I would have felt less dirty after that night.

For the price I paid, this was a 10 for me. The room had everything I needed and was fine for the cost, with a special view of the beach. Breakfast had a good mix of things for the morning, like eggs, yogurt, bread with butter and jam, coffee, and tea. The server asked if I wanted anything else, but I had enough. The staff were always smiling, kind, and helpful, and made sure I was having a good time. The location is very good, close to the beach and within a 15-minute walk of the Ribat and train station. There are lots of businesses nearby. If you're after luxury, modern rooms, and elaborate breakfasts, I'm sure the city has some 5-star hotels for that.

I got great value for money here. The room was big, the bed comfortable, and the view beautiful. Breakfast was nice and the staff were kind. Everything was great during my stay.

Monastir is very calm, and this is a great place if you want to stay away from the hotel complexes. There are just a few hotels around, and you can reach everything on foot. The people are really nice and the service is amazingly good. I enjoyed my stay enough to extend it. Breakfast isn't going to be the best of your life, but it's reasonable for the price, and the service staff are super nice. I'd recommend the hotel to anybody.
