Hotel Kheops

The location is very good, and the hotel has lots of activities for children. There are plenty of kind, energetic animators around. Security also seemed solid, with serious agents on site. Food was repetitive and not very interesting or well managed. Rice was always around, and juice was basically absent from the restaurant and the four other bars. Breakfast had only a very poor quality juice. The main restaurant was the only place to eat in the hotel, with no other restaurant, fast food or snacks. If you miss lunch or dinner, you have to leave the hotel. Servers clearly avoided saying something wasn't available and sent us to other bars, where we still couldn't find what we wanted. I didn't like that. I have to mention there are no cameras in the hotel. My friend dropped his phone and someone took it at the bar. The agents couldn't do anything since nobody could see who took it. I'd rate my stay about 6/10.

The food was bad, and cockroaches were everywhere. I even found some on my food. Our room's view was basically nowhere, just garbage. The room wasn't clean, and the maid didn't clean it until we did it ourselves. She cleaned for other guests, and I felt she left ours because we're Algerians. Many advertised things weren't available, including the gym, and there were other things in the room that didn't work. There was only one usable electrical outlet. Workers were extremely rude and often refused to serve us for no reason, even though we were polite. After seeing negative reviews, I thought people were overreacting, but they were right. Don't trust the website's photos or information. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this was something else.

The staff were good and kept trying to help, but the rest of my week at Hotel Kheops was a letdown. The website photos gave me a good impression, but once we arrived, the place felt very different. The location was boring, with not much to do, and after a week I couldn't wait to get back to my home country. Usually I don't want a holiday to end like that. I really wish we'd read the reviews before booking. WiFi was bad, only working in the lobby, and even there it worked perhaps 1/10. The food was poor quality, old and gross. Drinks were often unavailable and bad quality too. The toilets downstairs were extremely dirty, with no hygiene, and the lifts weren't working. There were about 30 sunbeds by the pool for more than 300 guests. Smoking isn't allowed inside, but people did it anyway. There were lots of Russian, Algerian and Moroccan people, and I felt everyone was staring at me because I was the only one not wearing a bourkini. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

One of the worst hotels ever. The service was bad, the rooms were dirty, and the staff were rude and racist. They seemed to care only about money. The food was horrible, and roaches were literally everywhere. We booked a week, and I couldn't wait for it to be over so I could go back to my country. Please read the reviews carefully before coming. I wish I had done that before getting ripped off.
