El Mouradi Palm Marina

The patisserie was the best we’ve ever seen and tasted, and the rest of the food was excellent too. Compliments to the chefs. Our sea-view room was beautiful, and we had a great week here. There were lots of activities, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and well maintained, with a sense of quality throughout. We’d happily stay again.

The location was the only small drawback. Everything seemed to need a taxi, with nothing much nearby. Otherwise, we all had a good stay at Palm Marina. We spent a week here and were pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews. Our room was cleaned daily, and staff were happy to bring extra towels when I asked. They were friendly and helpful, the indoor pool was great, and there was plenty of food to choose from. Thanks for an enjoyable visit.

The Moor Café was a favorite of mine. With its lovely view, it has the feel of an Andalusian garden blended with an old-fashioned café, a nice place to sit and take things in. The hotel also has a relaxed holiday atmosphere, gorgeous views around the rooms and pool, and a clean, beautiful beach. Some staff were kind and welcoming, though I noticed a few seemed to focus only on guests who tipped. The rooms were just okay and could use refreshing. The bar needs renovation and a livelier feel, and I didn’t enjoy the cocktails. There was some variety in the food, but the taste was inconsistent and could use fresher ingredients and more creativity. With updates to the rooms, bar, and food, plus more consistent service, the place has the potential for a much better stay.

The restaurant waiters were warm and friendly, and the food selection was good as part of our half-board package. But the inside doesn’t match the plush exterior. The carpets in the corridors and rooms were dirty, and the linen was torn. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t book again.
