The view from the villa was unreal, and the apartment was spotless and felt like home. I had a lovely time here with friends. The owner was kind and checked in on us, and we felt safe in the area. I’d recommend Dar Hergla for a friendly, relaxing getaway.

We only stayed one night, but left feeling we’d made lasting friends. Our hosts handled all the onward travel arrangements themselves or through family, and made us feel like family from the moment they welcomed us with tea. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. In the garden beside the large pool, we had a lovely breakfast of homemade pastries, preserves, and fruit. It was our first time in Tunisia, and such kindness gave us a wonderful introduction to the local people.

There’s no parking for residents, the TV didn’t work, and the room had no shower products. Breakfast was poorly presented, and the service fell short.

A lovely, peaceful base for visiting the little town of Hergla. The hosts are very friendly, and breakfast is really good.
