Hotel Marhaba Club

We had a relaxing, wonderful stay at Marhaba Club Hotel in December 2025, and would happily recommend it. The buffet had lots of delicious choices, and the staff there were always nearby, attentive, warm, and friendly. The service was impeccable, and the hotel itself was stunning. A special mention for the women at the spa reception, one of whom was outstanding. She was attentive and knowledgeable, and helped us choose the treatments that suited our needs. My family and I enjoyed every moment.

The food was fine for what we paid, though a little repetitive, and the waitress who looked after us most of the time was friendly and efficient. At the spa, the receptionist was very knowledgeable. She checked whether a particular massage was suitable for me, then followed up through the week to see how I was improving. My massage therapist, I think her name was Noor, was excellent too. We had a huge Junior suite, with plenty of room to work a little and relax. The bed was comfortable, and there was a nice bath and separate shower, though the shower was limescaled and didn’t work properly. The shower over the bath worked fine. Check-in was great. The nice lady at reception, whose name begins with A, let us into our room a little early, which we really appreciated. For what we paid, the whole stay was incredible value.

The restaurant staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. At least two would look after you there, and the variety of food was really nice. The hotel itself is really nice too. I felt treated like royalty, and it was the best holiday I’ve ever had. I’ve just left after a week and was genuinely sad to say goodbye to all the wonderful staff. I told the barman wasiff I’m hoping to come back in about six weeks, and I’ll work hard to keep my promise. Thank you all. See you soon x

The location is good, near both the city center and the beach. Receptions and bars provided good service, though the restaurant did not. To get very good service there, it seemed best to keep the same table from the first day until you leave and tip the person serving you from day one. There are quite a lot of food choices, but not much changes from day to day. Lunch is best, with freshly cooked dishes, though dinner sometimes repeats what was served at lunch. The room standard hasn’t been updated in many years, and cleaning wasn’t good. For example, they didn’t change the bed sheets. The hotel says there’s entertainment every evening, but that isn’t true. When there is a show, the performances are good. I’d give the room three stars and the other things four.
