The hotel made our holiday memorable in several thoughtful ways. For my son’s 21st birthday, they arranged a cake, and reception kindly let us use a complimentary room to shower and change before our evening transfer when late checkout wasn’t possible. They also accommodated our request to expand a restaurant booking from three to five after we made friends with a lovely woman and her daughter. The resort grounds are beautiful, with Tunisian-style architecture, clean pools and a spacious lobby. Our room stayed clean and comfortable, though the beds were firmer than we’re used to. Wi-Fi was free and worked across the resort, including by the pools. Food was very good, with plenty of options at the buffet, snack bar, pool bar and ice cream station, and we enjoyed the à la carte restaurant. We felt safe, with staff at both gates and lifeguards around the pools during the day. The private beach, with golden sand and a beach bar, is about a five-minute walk from the rear gate. There’s a shop, photography team, towel station and shaded spots around the pools. We never struggled to find somewhere to relax, though getting up earlier helps if you want the best sunbeds. The Tunisian sun is strong, so Factor 50+ is a good idea. There was plenty to do: water polo, volleyball, football, darts, table tennis, aqua activities and quizzes by day; live music, bingo, karaoke, a traditional Tunisian show, Brazilian dancers, a fire show and the White Party in the evenings. The Tunisian day by the pool was fun too. Mady, Shazy, Ahmed, Smiley and Joe deserve a special mention. The animation team worked hard, brought great energy and were friendly without being pushy. We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Royal Kenz and would happily recommend it to family and friends. Good food, clean facilities, helpful staff, security and a relaxed atmosphere made it a holiday we’ll remember. We’d gladly return.

We had a nice family holiday here. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and our room had a reasonably sized bed along with towels, bathrobes and soap. Staff were friendly and helpful, though one person from the restaurant team kept asking for my social media and WhatsApp, which felt strange and bothersome. The location is great, with gift shops and a private beach nearby. There are also activities outside the hotel, like camel rides and boat trips. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it, especially for families with kids.

It’s our fifth visit, and the staff still remember us. The hotel is fabulous, with really friendly people and an animation team that goes full throttle to get everyone involved. Salah kept us entertained with water polo and was always ready to help. The food is amazing and great value. I could go on, but I’d recommend giving it a try yourself.

The rooms need attention: old furniture, hard mattresses, peeling walls and hygiene that wasn’t up to a high standard. The employees tried to be nice, though not everyone managed it. Outside, the hotel looks beautiful, as do the pools and relaxation areas. The spa is wonderful and worth visiting. The guest entertainment team was phenomenal, the best I’ve ever seen. A big salute to Shaze and Smiley 👍❤️
