I liked it for what it is, a casual little place to hang out before heading down the hill to the amazing beaches. It's part-time art gallery as well as a guest house in Sidi Bou Said, and the hardworking staff are friendly and relaxed. The place could use a bit of sprucing up. Don't expect a fancy hotel, though I found it clean enough. A pair of guests from Switzerland left while I was there, saying it was too dusty. Not sure I'd come back, but ho-hum.

The central spot gets a little loud at night, but I loved the rooms, decorated with care and lovely paintings, and the breakfast was nice. There's a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy your own drinks and the nice view of Sidi Bousaid. Five stars for how friendly everyone is and how hard they try to help. Two pretty ladies are always there to serve you. Please don't visit the Cafe des Delices in Sidi Bousaid, its unfriendly waiters will take your money and leave you unhappy.

We booked two nights, but it was really disappointing. The sheets, bed, and pillows were used and not clean.
