We booked rooms with breakfast, but getting coffee meant waiting for staff to buy it outside and bring it back, usually just a couple of cups at a time. We kept asking them to improve the service, and in the mornings staff were often hard to find. It felt as if breakfast was being avoided until we left for meetings. The hotel no longer seems to have a working kitchen, so advertising breakfast with the rooms is misleading. In recent years, it seems the nightclub has become the priority, perhaps because it brings in more money. The hotel needs a major improvement in cleanliness and service. I won't stay here again after losing sleep during my last visit. The noise and vibrations from the nightclub on the first floor went on through the night. Its guests were constantly going between the club and a room on the third floor, which made us suspect the room might be used to promote prostitution. The hotel's central location may be convenient, but the nights were awful. The rooms were badly maintained, with dirty floors, poor lighting in some rooms, and no proper heating for guests visiting in the cold months. Some colleagues changed rooms three times before settling for one with a faulty balcony door.
