I didn't stay at the hotel, but I want to thank the security team and staff for how they helped my friend. She had a seizure right in front of the hotel, and they rushed over, offered to call emergency services, brought chairs to support her, and later gave us water. They stayed calm, professional, and incredibly kind in a stressful moment. I really appreciated their quick response and humanity.

I booked a double Room (King room) for two people from 4-9/11/2025 through bookingdotcom weeks ago. The booking was confirmed, so I went ahead and booked my flights. Then on Tuesday I got a message saying my banc card wasn't valid. They gave me 24 hours to sort it out or they'd cancel the reservation. I checked with the banc, confirmed the card again, and it was valid with enough money on it. Just 15 minutes later, another email said the reservation had been canceled because of an invalid banc card. I checked with the banc once more and there was nothing wrong with the card. That same email invited me to book again, but for €150 more. I immediately emailed the hotel asking them to undo the cancellation, since they'd canceled it after 15 minutes without a valid reason. So far, I haven't heard anything back. Is this really a 4* hotel?

It’s an easy walk of about 10 minutes to the Medina, which was handy. Our room was a decent size, but it faced a back alley with a coffee shop that stayed open until 1 a.m., and the noise carried in. The bathroom setup was odd: a small toilet, with the washbasin in an open area between it and the shower. The drain didn’t work well, so water stayed around our feet while showering. Cleanliness was acceptable. We didn’t try the hotel food, so I can’t comment on it. Staff were mixed. Some were friendly, others kept to themselves, and sometimes nobody was at reception. There was always a polite, helpful attendant at the entrance.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of local and international options. I spent a week here on a work trip and had a good stay. The room felt modern and high tech, with lots of drawers and mirrors, a TV, and a very comfortable bed. I liked being able to choose from pillows with different firmness levels. The hotel is new, and they said a spa and fitness centre would be opening soon. A couple of snags: street noise came through because the window didn’t seem to shut properly. I had to push the top while turning the handle to catch the latch. At one point dirty water came through the taps, but the hotel fixed it within a few hours. Very nice place for the price.
