La Demeure

The sea view from our room was gorgeous, and I never got tired of looking at it. Breakfast came in courses, with delicious omelets and treats to start the day. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help with anything. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time at la demeure for our wedding shoot. The venue looked stunning, the food was amazing, and everyone on staff was kind, friendly, welcoming, and professional. Thanks to all of you for making our days so special. We’ll definitely come back.

The restaurant was beautiful, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, and breakfast was perfect. We were lucky to find this hotel during our visit to Sidi Bou Said. The sea view was breathtaking, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I truly think it’s the best hotel in Sidi Bou Said, especially for the view. We had an unforgettable stay and would gladly return.

We went to this restaurant two days ago to break our fast, and it was extremely disappointing. During the phone reservation, we were told iftar would include a variety of soups, salads, brik, and nwasser bel alouch. What arrived was soup, Tunisian salad, salad mechouia, two mini briks, one plate of nwasser, tea, and assida. The food wasn’t tasty, and the limited menu cost 140 DT per person, 280 DT for the two of us, with water charged separately at 8 DT. On arrival, we were told there were only two soup choices. The salads were very limited, and one tasted unpleasant, almost spoiled. We were given only three dates between us. Instead of traditional brik, we got two mini briks each. My pregnant friend asked if they could make a normal brik, but the waiter said no. The main dish took a long time and was disappointing too. Dessert was assida noisette and tea. The tea was extremely weak, and the assida was so runny it was unappetizing. They also served dessert without clearing the table after the main course. When we complained, the manager said he’d spoken to the owner. The owner was there, but nothing was done and no comment was made. We complained again and were offered just two lemonades. Misleading information, poor food, slow service, and no proper response to our concerns, especially at that price. I don’t recommend this place.
