The staff made this a great stay. Marwa found me a room I loved and arranged a tour to Dougga. Naim shared lots of ideas for places to see around Tunis. Since I arrived with a bicycle tour, Bilel helped find a safe place inside for my bike, and Anis arranged a larger taxi for the bike box to the airport as well as inexpensive rides around town. The Majestic is a lovely four-star hotel in a perfect spot in Tunis. It feels like a classic, perhaps colonial-era hotel, with roomy high-ceilinged rooms. Mine had a little balcony over a park. It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was nice, and the bar and restaurant were good too. Best New Year wishes to all the welcoming, helpful staff.

The staff and location are excellent. It's a hotel with history, the rooms are very comfortable, and both breakfast and the dining room are good. The bathroom and shower are the one letdown, they need attention and aren't up to scratch.

We arrived in the very early hours for the first night of a package round trip. The elevator is slow and small. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for both atmosphere and choice, though our waiter was very friendly.

Breakfast was good, and reception exchanges money at a good rate. The hotel itself needs an upgrade: the carpets are very old and stained from water. Smoke can be smelled in some rooms even though they try to clean it. A separate non-smoking floor would help people with allergies. There are lots of mosquitoes, so bring spray. Wi-Fi works okay in the hallway but doesn't always reach the rooms, and the gym isn't functional at the moment.
