RADISSON BLU HOTEL & CONVENTION CENTER

I spent four days there, and the staff were friendly and did their best to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. I'll always remember the lovely cleaning lady, Om Shahad, who decorated my five-year-old son's bed so beautifully. The breakfast was very frustrating, though. The fried chicken was awful, like dog food, and there were raw potatoes and undercooked rice. That didn't suit a five-star hotel like Radisson Blu. The handheld shower head in my room was broken too.

I stayed for two weeks with my one-year-old son and my mother. It's a nice place with a nice view, and the breakfast staff and security were welcoming and treated us well. The cleaning woman Wafaa was lovely and changed our sheets every day. Still, the female receptionist or the manager working at breakfast never seemed to greet me or other guests with a smile. Maybe I noticed because I was a manager at the Four Seasons, where that's rule number one. The carpets outside all the rooms on the fifth floor had stains, so cleaning could be better. I was in room 509, and every day smoke smell came from the fan coils. I had a baby with me and raised the issue, but nothing was resolved. We spent the full two weeks with that smell, and the hotel did nothing to help. Thanks to the female receptionist for helping me when I asked again and again.

A very good stay, and highly recommended. The reception team handled check-in really well. WESAL was especially efficient and helped my whole group get through the process quickly and easily. Thanks to all the nice staff.

The hotel itself was great, but I had a bad experience booking tours through it. They cost more than the tours listed online, and when an emergency forced me to cancel the second one, the hotel refused to refund the full amount. Don't pay cash for a reservation like this.
