The rooms were very outdated, and the price didn’t make sense given their condition and the service. I’d recommend staying somewhere else, such as the Marriott. Our first room was unbearably hot because the air conditioning only blew hot air. Maintenance said they’d fixed it, but nothing changed. The windows were locked, so the room felt like an oven. After we complained again, we were moved to another room with the same air-conditioning problem. At least its windows opened, which helped a little.

Close to downtown and lots of other places, with good food and decent rooms. A great place to stay.

We used the pool twice. Access cost 90 dinar, with 50 of that usable toward food or drinks. The first time I ordered pizza and it was disgusting; the pasta I got on the second visit was much better. It’s calm and quiet during the week, but Sunday was crowded with locals and lots of kids, and music was blasting from the speakers. That wasn’t the relaxing atmosphere I was looking for.

I’m staying here for 10 nights for work. It’s usually okay, but when someone plays music and sings as loudly as possible, the sound carries through the whole hotel. Our group is spread out across the building and we can all hear it. Staff do nothing about it. Also, a hotel like this should normally provide bottled water for free, but here you have to pay for it as if it were a condiment. I wouldn’t stay here again.
