This place could have been a good hotel. It’s spacious and new, with good rooms, but the condition we found it in was awful. The sheets had clearly been used and were covered in hair, the towels and bathroom weren’t clean, and the room didn’t seem to have been cleaned for a while. There wasn’t even a chair to sit on, and no breakfast. The receptionist didn’t seem to care much. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth it at all. I’ve stayed in much better hotels for less.

The owner was warm and understanding, and I’m sure they would have cleaned the room from scratch and changed the sheets if I’d pointed things out that night. But I was tired, went to bed late, and only realized in the morning how dirty the sheets were and how much residue was on them. I’d seen some hair earlier and assumed it had come from my daughter, who sat there for 15-20 seconds. There was hair and other stuff on the floor too. I felt so uncomfortable I must have washed my hands 15 times after showering. I don’t want to think the person I met would knowingly leave a room like that, so perhaps staff missed it. The location is nice, and there was no car noise overnight, although a very unpleasant sound, maybe a truck horn, filled the room at one point. Check the sheets and room when you arrive.

I won’t stay here again. The staff seemed indifferent, and the bathroom was awful, with no toilet paper and a flush that didn’t work.

The one bright spot was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. Everything else made this the worst place I’ve ever stayed. There was no air conditioning, so in the summer heat I had to sleep with the window open, but the noise made that barely possible. The bathroom was moldy and disgusting, and the thin walls meant I could hear everything in the equally unpleasant bathroom next door. The room layout didn’t work well, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and the stained sofa was only usable after I put a towel on it. There’s no restaurant or breakfast option. The price was completely out of proportion to what you get, and I’ll avoid staying here again.
