Akköy Evleri brings together Cappadocia’s rural architecture, local art and frescoes, and a rustic connection to nature. It’s a distinctive ecotourism stay, carefully restored in an authentic local style. A great fit for anyone wanting a more engaging countryside experience, from trekkers and historians to families, artists, architects, ecologists, and people looking for a break from city life.

I paid through ETS Tours, but they said the hotel would collect the money after my stay. I ended up making two payments, and neither ETS nor the hotel took responsibility. I was also charged extra because the euro had risen in August. The business may be polite, but I found it dishonest. The rooms were missing things, there was no phone signal, it felt cold in winter and stuffy in summer. Don't be taken in by the positive reviews. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The place has a lovely, authentic atmosphere, and the staff greet you warmly. It’s a little outside the city center, though getting there is easy. We’d definitely recommend a visit.
