I’d suggest renting an apartment on the 2nd floor so you can sit outside with your tea and enjoy the magnificent view each morning. The house is well furnished, and the owner is very friendly. Prices seem quite normal for such a beautiful place. The beach is a 7 to 10 minute walk, and markets are accessible too. It works well for short or long stays, and feels like somewhere you could live forever, in summer or winter. Sometimes there can be hot water or WiFi issues, but they get resolved from time to time.

We arrived last night and were really disappointed. The place smelled awful, like animals had been living there, and it wasn't clean. There was no hot water or heating, and no pillows or blankets, just dusty, dirty covers on the beds. The doors don't close properly either. We looked at the photos before booking, but what we found here wasn't even close.

I've been staying here for the past three months. The owner is cooperative, the rooms are well furnished, and there's hot water around the clock in winter. The Wi-Fi, though, is terrible.

Fine for a place to crash, as long as you don't count on internet or warm water from the tap.

A quiet spot in Akyaka, with somewhat tired rooms. The price is OK.
