The room was supposedly 18 sq.m., but it was only 11 sq.m.; even counting the balcony and bathroom, it came to less than 18. The balcony door handle was coming off, and the minibar was just an empty fridge with a broken shelf. There weren’t even glasses or a kettle in the room, and nowhere to get tea or coffee at night or early in the morning. The mosque is about 200 meters away, and the calls to prayer started at 4:40. The soundproofing didn’t help. There was barely any access to the sea, just 5-6 meters, rather than a proper beach. We booked through Booking for 16-18.06 and were the only guests in the motel. On arrival, reception was empty and nobody even offered us water. The wine promised in the booking was missing too. We had to make a fuss before they provided the promised parking, and they acted like they were doing us a favor. I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password myself, and there were no instructions in the room or at the desk. The bathroom had a smeared mirror and rusty handles, with leftover toilet paper and cheap shampoo and gel from previous guests. No room cleaning, towel changes, or trash collection for two days. I went to the cafe at 7 in the morning, bought coffee myself, and by 8:30 there still wasn’t any included breakfast, though staff were eating in front of us. As we were driving out of town, they ran after us and suddenly asked if they should make us breakfast. We spent our time and ate elsewhere, coming back only to sleep. For 458 euros, I got two awful vacation days. In 30 years of traveling, with 500+ hotels and apartments behind me, this was the worst place in how it treated guests. It ruined my time and mood, and of course cost me money. I’m very glad I booked two nights instead of the seven I’d planned.
