The food was great.

We lasted two nights before leaving. The beach setup was cramped, and our requests to move the umbrella so it would block the sun were ignored again and again. The sunbeds weren't right by the shore either, so getting into the sea meant walking through the restaurant area or using another place's beach. Breakfast was just as bad: although we were told it ran until 10:30, we arrived at 9 and found nothing left. Staff loudly refused to replenish it in front of everyone, insisting their breakfast was perfect when we were only asking for tomatoes and cucumbers. There were just four tables, too, so people waited around for nothing. Our room felt like a prison. There was no shower enclosure or hairdryer, and not even a remote for the air conditioner. The curtain offered no privacy, and guests in the lower rooms could see people sitting or sleeping right outside their doors. The refrigerator smelled as if something had died inside it. When we asked to speak with the owner, we were told he would come within half an hour. He showed up the next day without telling us. This was one of the dirtiest, most indifferent places I've ever seen. We felt humiliated for our money, and left as soon as we could.

The sea is lovely, and the hotel sits right on the beach, so booking a room could make sense. We came as a group and found that two people had taken over the hotel and restaurant management when we arrived. Mr. Adnan, the hotel manager, was respectful, patient, and modest, and did everything he could to make us comfortable. Many thanks to him again. The restaurant was a different story. The meals were small and not filling, water cost extra, and the food was poor. It seemed to be run by a family group without much understanding of hotel management, and there wasn't a properly qualified chef. The restaurant felt driven by money. We left the hotel, and I'd suggest eating somewhere else.

It's not a luxury place, but it's worth considering for the seafront location. You can practically step from your breakfast or dinner table into the water, then come back and carry on eating. The fries and çiğ börek were fantastic. I'd recommend it.

Mr. Sinan and his family run the motel with so much attention that they make us feel at home. It's a lovely place to visit with family, and the one place where I can shake off the tiredness of the whole year. Before my father introduced me to it, I thought I could relax at 5-star hotels. I'd recommend coming here to unwind.
