Ladonia Hotels Mio Bianco

The beach was dirty, and flies made it hard to eat. The meals were something we ate just to get by, not because they tasted good. Hygiene was poor throughout, especially in the canteen, where the forks, dishes, glasses, and even the event tables were dirty. Drinks were nearly always served in plastic cups, even in the main canteen. There weren't enough workers to keep the hotel maintained, and management seemed to have no idea how to run it. In our room for three, there was only one place to charge devices. No minibar or snacks, the TV didn't work, and there was no trash can. We couldn't get towels, and the ones we did find looked dirty and disgusting. We're staying here now and regret coming. I've never been in a hotel this bad. Save your money and nerves and pick somewhere else.

The food was the real highlight at Mio Bianco. There was something different each day, with plenty of salads, fresh bread, five changing main courses, and meat or fish grilled in front of you. Twice a week they served grilled salmon, and the Turkish pizzas made in front of us were fresh and delicious. The traditional desserts were wonderful too. Staff were friendly and tried hard to look after us, even though most didn't speak English well. We could still understand each other easily. The resort was modern and attractive, with lots of activities, and the pool was cleaned every night. Each evening the hotel took guests to Bodrum for a disco at no charge. The beach is just across the street, with small stones on shore and clear water over sand. Rooms were fine for what felt like a three-star hotel, with a TV, air conditioning, and refrigerator, and they were cleaned daily from around 10. The main drawback was Wi-Fi, which wasn't available in our room. Bodrum is about 20 km away, but buses run every half hour in both directions, so that worked for us. Before arriving I'd read bad things online and expected a terrible stay, but that wasn't our experience. It isn't the world's best five-star hotel and could improve, but I don't think it deserves all the criticism. A pleasant place for a holiday, and I recommend it.

The ocean was the only thing I liked, and I wouldn't spend that much just to be near it. The place is meant to be a four-star hotel, but its quality falls below that of any three-star hotel in Turkey. There was sewage smell everywhere, and the food had little variety and tasted slightly below average. The minibar held only a couple of bottles of water. Management was extremely rude, and they overbook, so even after paying you may arrive and find no room. I wouldn't visit even if the stay were free. Avoid this hotel under any circumstances.

The beach is nice and the location is fine, but the rooms need renovation and guests can be left waiting a long time because of booking problems. Also, note that the hotel has recently had its license revoked over waste management violations.
