Blue Heaven Apart Hotel

One of the nicest things is how properly made the drinks are. So far, this is the only place where I’ve had a piña colada made exactly as it should be. The food is on par with local restaurants and still reasonably priced, too. Many Finnish guests come back year after year, and some stay for as long as six months. Plenty of people feel so at home here they treat it like a replacement for their getaway cottage. Apparently, we do too, since our next trip is already booked! 🤗😁 Blue Heaven is a real gem in Alanya’s huge hotel scene. We were warmly welcomed no matter the time of day or night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and daily housekeeping keeps them fresh. The pool area is well looked after, with sturdy, inviting sun loungers. Staff are warm and make every interaction easy and pleasant.

The place was beautiful and very clean, and the woman at reception was kind. I liked everything about it. It’s cheap, and you can rent a bicycle. I’d like to stay here if I travel to Alanya.

When I opened the door, the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The previous guest’s mess was still there, even though the manager told me, “you guys our first guest in this season.” There was also a window open onto some messy hole, and I’m not sure what it was for. I posted pictures. I drove all the way from Istanbul, a 9-hour trip, and found there was no parking. When I asked the front desk, they said they had none, even though parking was included on my booking. The manager, a rude lady with an attitude I’ve never seen before, told me I could cancel my reservation. I asked whether I’d get reimbursed if I did, and she said no. Wow. Everything about that place was horrendous and disgusting. I can’t believe they’re even in business. I will NEVERRRRRR waste money on a room like that again.

The owner was nice, and the place was peaceful, clean, and had a good pool. I booked through a travel company. The rooms were airy and bright, and there were actually two of them. It’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in without being so fancy that you feel uncomfortable walking around in flip-flops. There were no meals while we were there, during Covid-19 time. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone coming to the area.
