We’re staying at Caretta Relax Hotel now, and my husband and I are extremely happy with everything. The place is beautiful and spotless, and the staff are attentive to people’s needs. The food is incredible. Kitchen staff and floor managers keep an eye on things so service runs smoothly. Caretta Relax runs like a Swedish watch. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

The location is pretty good, but the holiday was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. Many guests spoke Russian and Polish, and their behavior was terrible. Around the pool there was dirt and cups left all over the floor, and beach towels were changed only twice a week. We waited 20 minutes for a table at lunch or dinner. This is the worst four-star hotel I’ve stayed in. If they don’t have enough people to manage things, they shouldn’t take on so many guests.

Alanya itself was a good experience, including the sightseeing and adventure trips, but I’d rate the hotel at no more than four stars. Problems with the room and general condition could bring it down to three: the bathroom door locked twice, we weren’t given extra key cards, the blankets were small, and if they renovate, it shouldn’t just be the second building. Staff were friendly and helpful, though guests should be polite too. Food was good, with limited variety. Most guests seemed to be from Russia and Belarus. Wi-Fi costs €10, $10, or 100 TL for 10 days per device, not per room, and it was poor during the day because of overload. The Turkish bath costs extra, we paid €100 for an introductory session for five people. The sauna is free for one hour daily, from 12:00 to 13:00. Beach towels and the safe also cost extra. Sunbeds and umbrellas at the hotel beaches are free, and snacks are served there daily, including ice cream from 16:00 to 17:00. The beach is about 200-250 meters away on foot. The nearest bazaar, with fake goods, is right beside the hotel. A larger one is a 15-minute walk in the direction opposite Alanya, whose center is 12 km away. I’d recommend #Caretta Resort Hotel if you don’t have high expectations and are traveling with kids up to 12-14 years old.
