The kitchen in each room is small but handy, so it’s easy to cook for yourself. Rooms face either the sunny, noisy road side or the shady side with a lovely mountain view. The location is convenient for shops and bus stops, including the main bus station, and the sea and Teleferik aren’t far away. Air conditioning was included. Wi-Fi was free only in the lobby, and the connection wasn’t very good. They gave us just two rolls of toilet paper at the start, so we had to buy more. We ran from war last year and asked whether they could keep the first month’s price for our second month. They said it was tourist season and that if we weren’t ready to pay, we should move somewhere else. The staff either barely smiled or didn’t smile at all. They seem focused only on profit. Don’t expect humanity or empathy here. The housekeeping ladies were very loud and rude.
The location is good, very close to the sea, and the price is good too. The manager and staff are friendly and nice. The food is mediocre. But the dirt ruined the whole impression. The elevator was filthy, and it took us to a dirty room. Cleaning rarely came; towels weren’t changed and shower supplies weren’t refilled. Even after a cleaning visit, the floor was still dirty. The chairs, mirrors, windows, and balcony were dirty too. This place is filthy.
The only positive I can think of is that the hotel’s apartments have two rooms. As for the all-inclusive setup, the food seemed to arrive from another hotel and be leftovers. It took me a while to catch on because of the way the hosts served it, but unidentified bones with only small bits of meat clinging to them made it obvious. Guests ended up eating fries and eggs whenever they could, and fortunately those were always available. Staff also chased people away from the food if they arrived three minutes before a meal started, which defeats the self-service idea. I wouldn’t call this a child or diabetes friendly hotel. We had problems with the air conditioning units. Reception said a technician was coming, but maybe he was coming from New Zealand, because I never saw him. Some guests ordered room service or just ate eggs and fries in their rooms, then left the used dishes by the stairs outside their doors. If you book here, tell me whether those dishes are still on the fifth floor, by the stairs leading to the sixth.
The staff were friendly and always helpful. The hotel pool was clean and nice, but we didn’t spend time there because we needed better Wi-Fi. It only worked in the lobby and reception unless you paid 28 lire per day, so we went to the alaaddin beach hotel during the day to get a better connection. The beds really need a better mattress topper. You have to put out a sign if you want the room cleaned, which is good for the environment. The cleaner often forgot to leave toilet paper or return the same number of towels. We just asked, and they gave us what was missing.
Never again. This isn’t really all inclusive, it’s full board. Between lunch at 14h and dinner at 19h, the only things available at the pool are water and artificial juice. The food was bad and didn’t taste good. The cakes were just dough with pudding on top. Fruit was okay, but only served at lunch and dinner. The rooms weren’t clean, and the fridge didn’t cool enough. Wi-Fi was so poor I couldn’t send email. The elevator broke twice.
