Hedef Resort Hotel & Spa

The room got three stars from me because the bedding needs changing more often. I get that there may be lots of guests and only a limited number of sets, but this could be improved. The hotel has three different kitchens with a variety of food and drinks, and drinks are available 24/7. There’s a beach bar and a pool, and I don’t understand the earlier ratings. One tip: buy mobile internet from a provider, since the hotel and pool Wi-Fi isn’t very good.

The way into the sea was a major disappointment. It was full of sharp rocks, making it uncomfortable and even dangerous to get in. We saw many guests hurt themselves trying to swim. There was almost no entertainment either. The animation team barely tried to engage guests, and the shows were boring and unprofessional. There was no fun atmosphere. Our room was dirty when we arrived, with dust everywhere, hair in the bathroom and stains on the sheets. Housekeeping hardly came, and when they did, they only did the bare minimum, so the room still felt dirty. The food was low quality and repetitive, with the same limited choices every day, and nothing tasted fresh or well prepared. The whole place felt old and neglected, with outdated, rusty buildings, facilities and rooms that badly need renovation. This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. The hotel failed to provide a pleasant vacation, and it felt as if they didn’t care about their guests or service quality. I strongly advise choosing somewhere that values comfort, cleanliness and guest satisfaction instead.

We changed hotels on the first day because we were worried about our children’s health. The pool water was cloudy and dirty, and grime and grease were everywhere. Someone vomited in front of the elevator, then in the elevator too. The whole place was dirty and smelled like carrion, and I was afraid to touch anything. The playground was in terrible condition, with cracked parts and screws sticking out, like something from a horror movie. I’m glad nobody in my family was hurt. A lawyer is handling this because we were misled. The manager told us the hotel’s website has photos from 30 years ago. Stay away from this horror. I strongly advise against it.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel had a warm, welcoming feel. The staff were incredibly kind. Ömer at the bar deserves a special thanks: he was professional, friendly and always smiling, and made the best cocktails. I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
