Incekum West Hotel

The food tasted good, but there wasn’t much choice at mealtimes, and some days had less variety. Staff were helpful, though not many spoke English. I understand that English-speaking visitors are only there once or twice a year, while most guests are German or Russian. We enjoyed our stay at Incekum West. The hotel was nice, and the animation team and activities were fun. I’d probably come back as an affordable option.

The hotel has a perfect location, and the staff were very friendly. But we booked all-inclusive with an open buffet and were given a meager plate of food for both dinner and breakfast. The manager and owner seemed crazy to me. They hadn’t prepared what staff needed to open the buffet, and the bar didn’t even have ice or the restaurant have lemons and other basics. If you want to be in heaven with hellish service, you could choose this hotel. I think the owner is stupid and stingy, not providing good service despite the hotel’s location. We booked two days, but canceled the second and left for another hotel.

I stayed from 27-30 September. I’d read some Google reviews beforehand, like most people do, but I’m not here to label them good or bad. People make their own choices, so I’ll share what I noticed. The staff worked hard, were respectful, and kept smiling while trying to understand what guests needed. The hotel itself was usually quiet, which suited a sea, sand, and sun kind of holiday. There were some activities, though I couldn’t join them all. I went to karaoke on the last night and had a great time. Everyone sang and danced in their own language. There isn’t club-style entertainment at the hotel, so if that’s what you’re after, I’d suggest the clubs in downtown Alanya. The beach is close to the hotel and the grounds. It has soft sand, and the sea gets deeper gradually. The water is usually calm, with no noisy music on the beach, which I loved. Music preferences vary, and loud music can be annoying. I was traveling alone, so I had a small room. It was clean throughout, and I found what I needed. The furniture wasn’t luxurious or new, but remember this is a four-star hotel. I enjoyed the food. There weren’t huge numbers of options, but Turkish cuisine has plenty of variety and you’ll probably find things you like. This isn’t a gourmet hotel, so choose one if exploring food is the main reason for your trip. I don’t drink alcohol, so I can’t comment on it, but not every brand is available.

This is our third time at this hotel, and we really like it. The food is delicious, the staff responsive, and the rooms clean and cozy. Metin, the attentive lifeguard on the beach, was on duty again. This time he quickly rescued a man who had swum far beyond the buoys. Everyone was worried, but Metin Kutlu - Lifeguard acted fast. I hope the hotel keeps making us happy and that we can visit every year.
