Kleopatra Beach Hotel

Three of us adults and two children booked two rooms, and the holiday was ruined by what seemed like a serious food and hygiene problem. After dinner on the first evening, my four-year-old daughter became very sick and vomited. I told reception I was concerned about the food and the cleanliness of the plates, tables and utensils, but was told everything was fine. The next night I had stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea and then vomited. I went back to reception and asked them to check the kitchen and cleaning again. On the third day, my three-year-old son vomited during lunch in the restaurant. Talking with other guests, we learned that several people had similar vomiting and diarrhoea. A family staying next door had taken their three-year-old to hospital, where they were told it was Rotavirus. Late at night, I could hear other guests vomiting in their rooms too. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I’ve been to Turkey four times with my family and children without any problems, but this stay left me completely disappointed in this hotel, not Turkey. I agree with the other negative reviews, and wonder if the good ones are fake. There were plenty of other things wrong here as well. Avoid it, and let them eat their own meals.

The room was very clean, and reception was always cheerful. The food was great too, and the location couldn't be better. I'm planning to come back next year.

The food didn't work for my granddaughter at all, so I ended up spending a fortune despite being on an all-inclusive holiday. The sports bar just outside the main entrance served good food and looked after us well, even bringing food or cocktails into the hotel. The all-inclusive drinks, though, come in tiny plastic glasses. The hotel is in a great spot near the beach, bars and shops. The room and balcony felt really small for three people, but the free air conditioning was good.

Some Russian guests were really rude, grabbing food and chairs as if they were in The Platform. That's on those people, though, not the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would definitely recommend staying here. I spent 12 days here from late September into early October. For the price, I thought the hotel was quite decent, so I don't understand the negative reviews. Our room was cleaned every day, the location is excellent, and there was a wide food selection. I don't eat salads with mayonnaise, so maybe that's why I had no problems. The meat was decent, and the vegetable dishes I chose were delicious.
