The location and price were the only things going for this place. The bathroom had black mold all over, and the room smelled damp with heavy air. Everything looked long past its best: curtains had big holes and the wood surfaces were peeling. Most of the staff were rude, though the bartender and the cleaning lady were nice. If you have allergies or asthma, I’d stay out of the building. It could trigger a serious reaction.

The staff were funny and really kind, and the location is great if you want to stay near the center. The beach isn’t far either. The room was okay for a cheap hotel, so keep your expectations modest. Air conditioning and the safe both cost extra.

Kleopatra Beach, a lovely green park, and the Teleferik station are all about a two-minute walk away, which was the main reason I’d happily return. I stayed five nights without any problems. My room was dated but looked freshly decorated and was kept in good shape, with new curtains, a working shower, and a comfortable bed and pillows. It was cleaned every day, and there was even a lift. The staff were pleasant to me, and breakfast suited me well. I expected to pay extra for the air conditioning, since that’s common in several countries. Some rooms may be in worse condition than mine, but at this low price I’d rather have a small, clean place to sleep and shower in a brilliant location, then go explore. I wouldn’t spend a fortune at a fancy resort just to stay there. A cheap hotel doesn’t take away from what Alanya has to offer.

The beds were fine, but the rest was really bad. The room got so hot it was hard to stay in without the air conditioning, which cost €6 and was broken. The lift was small and the staff weren’t friendly. I’d give it no stars if I could.
