Luxury Apartments in GoldCity Complex

Thanks to Furkan Can, who was amazing and went above and beyond. The other staff were rude and ignorant. The hotel looks lovely, but the rooms are basic and need a revamp, and the food is basic too, not really suitable for children or fussy eaters. We paid way too much for this holiday, I'm afraid I wouldn't return.

I'm only on my second day here, and I already regret booking. If Eda, the kind and professional manager guest relations representative, hadn't been here, I would've left on day one. We have a 4-year-old child, and there's no lifeguard at the children's pools, which is a serious safety concern. The hotel is overcrowded, with no sunbeds available unless you reserve one with a towel as early as 7 a.m. They're packed tightly together, leaving no personal space. At the snack bar, there aren't enough tables, and people have to stand in long queues for basic food. The whole place feels stressful and disorganized, not relaxing. The main hotel manager was extremely rude and unwelcoming. He didn't greet us or smile, and showed no interest in making guests comfortable. That's unacceptable in a supposed 5-star hotel. This is my second trip to Turkey, and I've never had an experience like this. I'll update at the end of the stay, but so far this place doesn't deserve 5 stars, not even close.

The rooms were always clean and comfortable, and the all-inclusive meals and drinks had a good range. We enjoyed the waterpark too. The hotel itself was quite good, but it's at the top of a hill. To go anywhere, we needed either the beach shuttle followed by a long walk to the shops, or a taxi.

It was hot and sunny, mid-30s, even in mid-October. The resort is a bit out of the way, though there are shuttle buses to the beach and day trips to help fill a week. A super all-inclusive stay, with great buffets, pools, and a water park.
