Mesut Hotel Family

The all-inclusive setup was awful from arrival to departure. We left home at 3 a.m. and reached the hotel at 4 p.m., but there was no lunch for us. We had to wait until the restaurant opened for dinner at 7 p.m. At checkout, after leaving our room at 1 a.m. for a journey that got us home at 10 a.m., the packed lunch was two cherry tomatoes, half a small cucumber, 5 grams of chocolate spread and a piece of cookie. A joke. There were never enough towels for three people. We'd get one for two people, or sometimes just one towel total. The food wasn't great to begin with, then we realized meat leftovers were being served again under sauce. It was the same for all 10 days. The pool water was supposedly changed weekly, but in our 10-day stay I never saw it happen, even though our room was above the pool. They say there's chlorine in it, and our eyes got very red. They charged extra for everything. Internet in the room was €2 per person, per device, despite the booking saying Wi-Fi was free. If you aren't good at negotiating, you can end up paying four times the normal amount. Same story on the beach. So many lies. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. One star is too many, and I still have more to say.

The pool gave me and many others swollen, red eyes and blurred vision. We reported it to management, who said they'd arrange a meeting with the hotel manager, Mr. Birol. For five days we kept asking, but he was always said to be unavailable, and we never got to meet him. Only the service staff worked diligently. The reception staff otherwise seemed indifferent, unprofessional and incompetent. Cleanliness was nonexistent, and the animation was terrible. The team would be nowhere around all day, then appear with a whistle, play Romani music from a laptop, wave their hands and blow the whistle for five minutes, and call that animation. They also say the Turkish bath and sauna are free, but charge extra when you go. Both were freezing. Only after paying did they switch on the heater, and it took at least 30-40 minutes to warm up. By then, you're tired of waiting. The chlorine and additives in the pool caused the eye problems, in my view. Do yourself a favor and don't choose Mesut Hotel. A disgrace.

We spent nine out of ten days in bed with fever, vomiting and diarrhea. The first day was fine, and maybe it would have stayed that way if we hadn't eaten anything. We never got to use the pool. When we asked reception, they said other guests had the same problem, but nothing was done. Our stay was July 26th to August 3rd, 2021, and it was the worst vacation of our lives. Never again.

The bathrooms were in bad shape. The toilets didn't work, and after a shower water would leak onto the bathroom floor. The rooms felt like a guesthouse, not a hotel, and the food was the worst I've ever eaten. I was there from August 18, 2022 to today. The photos they uploaded were from a different 4-star hotel. A disaster, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing. One star is already too generous. Never again.
