Modern Saraylar - All Inclusive

We were disappointed with the value for money and felt this hotel fell short for our family. The slides only ran from 2-4pm even though the pool was open from 10am-6pm, so neither the adults nor the kids got to use them during our stay. At check-in, we were simply handed a room key with no explanation or warm welcome. After we changed rooms, the balcony door still wouldn't close. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the bathroom were all the same product, and after using them for a few days I realized they had left my hair in very poor condition. Staff were extremely rude, and we felt they clearly favored Turkish guests while ignoring non-Turkish visitors. Communication was almost impossible because no one seemed to know even basic English words like “sugar,” “lemon,” or “water.” The Wi-Fi was terrible even in the lobby. The hotel also didn't feel culturally welcoming: performances and activities were only in Turkish, which left us feeling excluded. The facilities and schedules were frustrating too. The gym was in poor condition, especially the women's section, where only one treadmill and some weights worked. The rest seemed to be just for show. By 6pm, the entertainment, beach access, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, and indoor pool had all closed, leaving only dinner and a return to the room in the evening. We've stayed at other all-inclusive Islamic resorts that were much better in every way.

The women's area felt private and secure, and I really appreciated that thoughtful separation. The indoor pool was consistently heated, which was great for little swimmers, and my one-year-old loved the splash area. We also enjoyed the lunch options at the on-site shack. The spa was a full 10/10 for both men and women. We stayed in a junior suite at Modern Saraylar with our three children, all under three, and the resort made family travel much easier. Cots were available on request, they even provided milk cartons for the fridge, and there was suitable food throughout the day. Our kids liked being around other children as well. We met several Turkish families who return regularly, which says a lot about the place's warmth and quality. It felt ideal for our family holiday, and we'd love to come back soon.

The hotel was lovely, with good food and events, and the decorations were really pretty. We also rented a car for a few days through Viper Transfer in the hotel lobby. They were helpful, trustworthy, and easy to deal with. The hotel was great overall and helped us with our problems. When one of our clothes went missing, Zeynep Hanım was especially helpful and found it within a day.

Meals were a highlight, with generous breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, lots of variety, and a new surprise every day. The location worked really well too, close to everything while still quiet. Our room was clean and modern, with a beautiful view. We were welcomed so warmly as soon as we arrived, and the staff were always helpful and made us feel at home. The female manager even moved us from a triple room to a family room. Whenever we saw her or another staff member, they checked that we were happy and asked if we needed anything. I'd definitely return with my family.
