The staff were the highlight, so helpful and friendly that we miss them already. The mini fridge, good air conditioning, and decent balcony covered all the essentials we needed. The pool was small but clean, and the surrounding area was well kept. The food was tasty and interesting, and we ate there most days. My boyfriend and I stayed ten days and had a fantastic holiday. We’d been wary after reading reviews, but take them with a pinch of salt. We paid £500 each for flights, transfer, and all-inclusive, so we weren’t expecting the Ritz. It was just right for what we wanted and expected. From the hotel, it was a five-minute walk to beautiful Kleopatra beach and to the cable cars up to Alanya castle. We could also easily get to plenty of trips. We loved remi hotel and Alanya.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was large. The free Wi-Fi in the room worked okay. The food was okay too, but repetitive, with only a small choice of fruit. This was my second visit, and it will be my last. The room was in desperate shape, old and poorly maintained. The bedding wasn’t changed once during our ten days. The room wasn’t cleaned either, apart from the floor being mopped three times. I don’t think the hotel deserves more than two stars.

The location was the best part, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. My room was okay and clean, if a little old, and the rusty shower cubicle still worked. The staff were nice and very friendly. I wouldn't rate this as a four-star hotel by Western European standards, more like two stars. The food wasn't very good. There was a reasonable selection of salads and cakes, but very few main dishes, usually one meat option such as fried chicken, sausages, or fish, and one vegetarian option such as beans, boiled vegetables, or fries. The mains felt very cheap. The hotel isn’t expensive, but the savings on food went too far. The hygiene was the main reason for my one-star rating. Several times I saw bar staff take used glasses, rinse them briefly with water, and serve drinks in them. They didn’t use soap or high heat to disinfect them. That puts people at risk of infections. The restaurant’s plates and glasses were scratched and worn as well. I won’t stay here again because of these hygiene issues. Putting people’s health at risk is unacceptable, regardless of the other features or the price.

The cooks, restaurant waiters, and cleaning women worked hard for long hours, even without air conditioning, and were always kind and friendly. They greeted us with smiles and nice words. That was probably the hotel’s biggest strength. We travelled as three adults but were first given a tiny, filthy, damaged room with two beds and a child’s bed. There was no space for our luggage, holes in the walls, ruined furniture, stained sheets, and a very dark, moldy bathroom. Reception said there was no other room. The next day, our travel agency representative argued for us, and suddenly a room was available in the newer part of the hotel. It was larger with three normal beds, but still dirty and damaged. It was better than the first room, though. The all-inclusive offer was really full board with drinks. There were three meals and so-called afternoon coffee and cakes, which turned out to be two kinds of dry biscuits next to a coffee machine. We arrived hungry and tired at 2 pm and had to wait five hours for the next meal. The meals were tasty but repetitive, with none of the Turkish treats we expected, such as fresh fruit, baklava, nuts, or good-quality juice. Management seems to be cutting costs as much as possible, with terrible results. There’s no air conditioning in shared spaces, including the lobby, corridors, bar, and restaurant, which is hard on guests and staff in summer heat. The food was very cheap and poor quality, with little fruit and lots of preserved or frozen products. The sheets and towels were old, dirty, grey, and torn. There were also too many plastic and paper cups, which is really bad for the environment. You can find much better hotels in Turkey. I don’t recommend this one.

On top of the awful room, one staff member kept harassing my friend and making advances. He wrote her name on his hand and flirted with her throughout our stay. She felt unsafe and was afraid to walk past reception. We were there with two friends during autumn break, and none of us had ever had such a terrible experience. The room was dirty and moldy, and the toilet didn’t work, so we had to go to reception whenever we needed one. We booked through Expedia and contacted them as soon as we saw the room. We wanted some money back so we could leave and find a hotel where we could enjoy our holiday. The hotel refused to speak with Expedia or us and kept delaying the inquiry. They claimed no one could speak English, which wasn’t true: we spoke English with several employees, and I spoke German with a few. They still refused to talk to Expedia and wouldn’t even answer when Expedia called. It was the most awful and depressing trip any of us had ever had. Expedia didn’t help either, and we felt trapped and scammed. This is definitely not a four-star hotel. Horror Hotel is a better name. Don’t book it.
