The beach was a 20 minute walk away, and the location was decent. But there’s a lot wrong with this hotel, and this is just the surface. The pool is extremely deep, while the “shallow end” barely feels shallow. There’s hardly ever a lifeguard around, so if you drown, you're dead. The wifi is extremely slow, and the light in my room didn’t work. I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to today. Don’t expect too much from a 3 star hotel, but be wary of these things.

We arrived around 1:00am, and I was relieved to find a beautiful reception in a well-lit area. The staff member who greeted us was lovely and upbeat despite the hour, and made a fuss of my children. Check-in was quick, and our room had a fantastic amount of space. The year before we’d stayed at a 4* all-inclusive resort, and this room was three times bigger. Before the trip, I’d been really apprehensive after reading the reviews, so anxious that I felt it on the plane. There was a little wear and tear, but for the price we paid it was more than perfect for us. We paid for the air conditioning without complaint. It was worth it, helped us adjust to the heat coming from the UK, and let us sleep comfortably. The pool was smaller than ones we’d used before, but there was a small slide for my 6 year old. My 11 year old would have happily spent every day there if we hadn’t booked other activities. It wasn’t busy, and we found loungers nearby each day so we could keep an eye on them and jump in whenever we felt like it. The cocktails looked and tasted sensational. We only ordered them between 2-4pm for the Buy One Get One Free offer, and there was some miscommunication when settling the final bill. It was sorted out, and the prices were more than fair. Breakfast was a unique experience. The kids were selective, but there was plenty for them to mix and match. We were very pleased with the staff and location. Thank you to everyone!

The staff were very helpful. We arrived early in the morning, and when my husband tried to use the shower, we found it was over a bath that was too high for him to step into because he’d had a hip operation. We explained the problem, and the staff moved us that afternoon to a room with a walk-in shower.

The internet was the worst problem for us. It cut out every 15 minutes, which was unbearable because my husband and I both work remotely. We asked for a fix and hoped the owner might upgrade it, but nothing changed. Other guests complain about the internet too, yet the owner won’t spend money on it. The owner seems to care only about taking people’s money and shows no respect for guests. I don’t understand the good reviews. All I saw was carelessness and disrespect, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel under any circumstances. We paid 38,000 rubles for 3 weeks. I always try to write honest hotel reviews because I love traveling and want to help other tourists, so here’s what happened. The clean towels we found in the room were actually dirty and sandy, so I went downstairs for replacements. The pillowcases had huge holes, and after I took the pillows downstairs, they replaced them. Then I unfolded the blanket and found massive holes in that too, so I had to go back down again. The furniture, including the chairs, table, and nightstands, was completely worn out. The kettle looked like it hadn’t been replaced in about ten years. It was covered in limescale and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The air conditioner worked when we checked in, but there was no remote, and the button on the unit didn’t work either. I had to go downstairs about that too. There’s construction next door. The electric stove broke on the first day, and they had to repair the outlet. The main room, which is the kitchen, has no ceiling light, just one lamp. In the evening, we’d want to turn on the main light, then remember there wasn’t one. There are very few power sockets, so you have to choose between using the stove or kettle, charging my husband’s laptop or mine, or using the lamp so we’re not in the dark. The bedroom has only one socket for charging a phone, and it isn’t next to the bed.
