Senza The Inn Resort & Spa Resort Hotel

The pool is fantastic, and the bar stays open until 2am with a great team working there. Rabia and Busra were especially friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and tidy, the food was great, and I'd recommend staying here.

The hammam was genuinely nice, and having unlimited soft drinks and water felt like a luxury. The rest of my stay at Senza The Inn Resort & Spa was a letdown. I've been visiting Turkey for six years, and this was my first so-called five-star hotel. The only five-star part seemed to be the label on the booking site. The food quickly became repetitive. Breakfast meant the same buffet every day, including boiled eggs that were grey inside, with no omelettes or fresh choices. The bistro and pizza place repeated the same dishes too. Many guests, me included, ended up with stomach problems. At first the room looked clean, but the floors clearly hadn't been mopped. I pressed the green cleaning switch, but nothing happened, so I had to call reception to get the room cleaned. Toilet paper was oddly hard to come by, and I had to call every day for more. Check-in and check-out were easy, but the welcome was cold. The staff didn't offer a smile or a tour, and looked miserable. When I asked for a tour, one man hauled our bags to the lift, left us on our floor, sighed, then seemed surprised not to get a tip. Five stars for sulking, maybe. The lifts were painfully slow. Lizards walked along the walls, insects showed up in cups, and after 10pm the hotel smelled like a sewer. Quite a spa atmosphere. If misery had a luxury address, this would be it.

The food was often cold, even when we arrived as the restaurant opened. Fresh chips were just spread over the cold ones, with some tucked underneath the pile. Once I opened a tub of sauce and found it crawling with little flies. A couple of days I just had cake and hot coffee so I could have something warm. The hotel looks amazing, though it felt isolated, even if places to go weren't far away. Bar service was fine. On arrival, the bellboy complained that his tip was too small. He was also rude to an Indian couple with a child in the lift, pushing the luggage holder into them and refusing to move it so they could get out, leaving them to squeeze past.

The animators made the week feel lively and welcoming, always bringing energy, smiles, and fun entertainment. They were the best under the sun, and really made the stay special. The food was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of variety each day. I had an unforgettable week at Senza Hotel in Turkey and would recommend it for the good vibes, great food, and memorable holiday.
