We were two families visiting Amasra and needed a place for the night because we were heading back late. After viewing six or seven apartments, we settled on Karalar Apartment, the last one we saw. It's about 100 meters from the sea, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful. It's one of the few places we'd strongly recommend. Thank you.
Ms. Sevinç took care of everything and was a big help. The place was clean and fairly priced. I'd recommend it, thanks.
The ground floor is a place I wouldn't recommend. It smells awful, has no ventilation, and laundry doesn't dry. I can't speak for the upper floors, but we weren't happy there at all.
We've had one issue after another since arriving. It's been only about six hours, and already there are five or six problems. The bathroom is in terrible shape: the shower water won't adjust, the showerhead is broken and unusable, and the tap leaks. The stove is broken and keeps clicking, the outlet is loose, and there's a foul smell outside. It's been evening for a while, and the air conditioner is dusty, so we haven't turned it on.
Our group stayed in a very basic but clean apartment. We were a bit cold, since a blanket and a thin cover weren't enough for this time of year. We needed a duvet or a thicker blanket.
