Anemonia Hotel

Rain was coming in everywhere, even through the room ceiling, and the corridors stayed wet without anyone trying to clean them. The bed and sheets had obvious stains, the air conditioner didn't work, and the room was cold. I don't even want to get into the bathroom. This place doesn't deserve a star. If you have any respect for yourself, don't go.

The restaurant downstairs seems popular with locals, and the food is tasty, with starters and a complimentary treat at the end. But there is no menu, nobody speaks English, and ordering means using an online translator. You can only choose chicken, fish, or meat, and the prices are high. The hotel itself is in poor shape, from the entrance door to the sink, which all seem ready to fall apart. It's sad that this is the only place listed on Booking in town.

The staff were incredibly generous and helpful, even giving us a bus card and refusing payment for little things like bread or a bottle of water. There's breakfast included in the good room price, and some nice places to eat nearby. We stayed one night at Hotel Anemonia. You can get there by bus without a car, and Anamur castle is about a 25-minute walk along the beach.

They should have the municipality inspect this place. The room was extremely dirty and smelled awful, not fit for people. On top of that, they play live music and songs at night, from 21:00 to 01:00.
