The hotel team were kind and hospitable, and they don’t keep alcohol bottles in the refrigerators. But I still think this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. I’m a strict nonsmoker and can’t tolerate cigarette smell, but there’s no division between smoking and nonsmoking rooms. I ended up in a room that smelled throughout, including the blankets, mattresses, and pillows, and couldn’t sleep. It would be easy to fix by assigning separate rooms. The surroundings were also awful. There are lots of shameless, obscene, filthy bars and nightclubs nearby. At night it felt extremely disgusting, with drunken people wandering the corridors and miserable loud music coming through the window.

It’s a small hotel tucked into a narrow lane, and the staff are friendly. But the heater only runs from 7 pm until 8 am. If you plan to spend time indoors during winter, you’d be better off finding another hotel with proper heating.

I had a terrible stay. There were bedbugs, and they bit me!
