Latanya Hotel Ankara

The breakfast had loads of choice, and we really enjoyed the spa, especially the Turkish bath and massage. There’s a nail salon too, and booking it was convenient. The rooms were great and the hotel was beautiful and clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The room did get very hot, though, and there was no way to adjust the temperature ourselves. I’d come back and recommend the place, but next time I’d bring my own fam :)

We booked this hotel because it was close to our business and we wanted our child to have some evening fun, but the pool wasn't open to anyone under 16. We arrived at 3 pm and our room still wasn't ready. The receptionist was cold and looked grumpy, which only added to the frustration. The manager wasn't helpful either, and whatever we raised, the response was no. When I got upset, I said I'd discuss checking out only if the full amount was refunded. They didn't seem to value their guests. At 8 pm they started calling the room to ask when we were leaving. That was rude. We had surgery the next day, so in the end we ignored the calls. If it weren't for our child's health, I would have stood up for my rights as a paying guest. They did send complimentary fruit bowls, but we can afford our own. My advice is to skip it until they train the staff and update their system.

The place had a nice feel, with vintage touches mixed in with a modern look. Our room had plenty of amenities, and the beds were quite comfortable. Latanya Hotel had an indoor pool too, though the spa salon was closed on the day I visited. Service was great everywhere we went, and the staff were always smiling and kind. I was grateful to stay here for five days.

I travel often, and Latanya Hotel in Ankara made a strong impression on me. The gym had modern equipment, plenty of room, and enough variety for me to keep up my workouts. It was clean and well looked after. Cleanliness stood out across the hotel too, from the lobby to the guest rooms, and I appreciated the effort to keep things hygienic. There was even a pleasant scent throughout the hotel that added to the atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, from check-in through their helpful suggestions for local attractions, and made me feel welcome. I’d gladly stay there again. Five stars from me.
