Meyra Palace

The bathroom smelled terrible, and the room stayed extremely hot even with the air conditioner off. It made the stay a living hell. The lobby was very nice, though, and the staff treated us politely.

A comfortable hotel with clean sheets. The lifts were the weak point, they moved strangely and were so slow.

Breakfast was fantastic, delicious, and better than at any hotel I've been to recently. The restaurant was fine, too. The staff were very helpful, and Muzaffer is especially kind and cheerful. Ask him if you need anything, he'll help. Some staff don't speak English perfectly, but their helpful attitude makes that easier to overlook. Meyra Palace hotel had the feel and service I expected from a five-star place. I think it's fantastic and highly recommend it.

Interesting interior design and big rooms, plus a nice shower. But the air conditioning isn't very good and the fridge stays warm. There aren't many English speakers, which is okay, but staff often gave wrong answers instead of saying they didn't know, and that isn't okay. The spa felt more like a family and community water center than a place to relax. There were lots of kids and swimming lessons taking up half the pool. Hotel guests also have to pay an extra 150 lira for a bathing cap, and there's no salt room. The sauna and steam rooms were very good, but overall it wasn't worth it.
