The staff were nice, and breakfast was good. The hotel was a long way from the center but very close to Odunpazarı. There were problems with cleanliness and equipment, though. They cleaned the room when we arrived for our three-night stay, but not again after that. The satellite dish didn’t work, and the hairdryer ran for a minute, then stopped for five.

The staff seemed friendly and well-intentioned, but the place is neglected and very dirty. The walls haven’t been painted, the toilet is extremely filthy, and the smell inside is unbearable. It urgently needs serious maintenance and renovation planning.

The room was dusty and unclean, with hair and fur on the bed and floor. It never got warm enough, and the bathroom radiator wasn’t even on, so it was freezing. Maybe we were just unlucky, but all three days of our stay came with trouble. Fights, police, and loud noises kept waking me at night. I’d also stress that this definitely isn’t a place for families.

The receptionist was really kind, and the location worked well for me since it’s close to the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara. The quality feels fair for the price, so I’d recommend it if you’re looking for affordable accommodation around Ankara.

The rooms were neat and clean, though I missed having a refrigerator and cutlery, which I consider important. It’s about 15-20 minutes from the center. I think it’d be a more appealing stay if those basics were provided.
