Ale Park Hotel

I’d left a good five-star review before, but that changed when the host claimed I’d drunk the minibar drinks and said he’d left a price list in my room. He tried to claim €13 from me through Airbnb, which I’ll decline. Scammers, avoid at all cost.

We needed a last-minute getaway, and for the location and a room with our own jacuzzi, the price was excellent. For a three-star hotel, this accommodation hit the spot. Eric at reception was very helpful during our stay, and the staff in general were friendly. My girlfriend and I will book again.

The manager was indifferent and ignorant, which was the worst part of the stay. I booked the most expensive deluxe room, but couldn’t even spend a night there. The room was as hot as outside, and the AC did nothing. There was no hot water, the shower leaked, and the faucet was coming apart in my hands. There weren’t enough outlets to charge our devices. Avoid this place if you don’t want your holiday ruined.

The room was small but new and clean, and the hotel is in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the sea. I complained about noise in my room, and the owner fixed the problem by moving me to a different room with a balcony. That was very kind. The staff were friendly and ready to help at any time. There’s a pizza place on the first floor, and the pizza is really good. If you want somewhere affordable, cozy, and clean in a good location, this is a good choice.
