Babil Hotel

I stayed here for a long time and everything was very good. The hotel is really clean, and the staff are very friendly. Many thanks to Merve for her kindness.

The calm, relaxing atmosphere and clean, spacious, well equipped rooms made me comfortable throughout the stay. Food was delicious and there were lots of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way for me. I really appreciated the care and warm hospitality. A wonderful stay, and I’d happily recommend it. Hope to come back soon!

I’m writing to ask what I should do if a property lies about what’s included in a booking. Babil hotel was the worst. They didn’t say there was no elevator, and although they claimed to have a private beach, you had to pay 270tlira. The rooms were so dirty, and they didn’t clean mine during my 14 day stay. The toilets were tiny and smelled of pee, and the breakfast restaurant was full of ants. When I asked for anything, they screamed at me, and I was scared to call or do anything there. They didn’t even change the bed sheets.

The only person who treated us well was a young man with white hair at reception. He was very kind and helped us switch rooms after we were initially given the wrong one. We booked from April 6th to April 17th, but left after a few days and paid for another hotel because the experience was so bad. The rooms and bathrooms were disappointing, and there was noise all around the area. Most of the time, the receptionist we dealt with was rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Don’t waste your time or money, find somewhere better.
