Lara Olympos Bed&Breakfast

We couldn’t wait to leave after just one night. The assigned room was dated, with a broken bed frame, stained sheets and blanket, and an uneven, sloping floor. It wasn’t clean either, and the toilet hadn’t been brushed properly. The bathroom was tiny, dark, and unpleasant. There was no kettle, tea, or bottled water. Breakfast was so-so, and the cats there were quite aggressive. The beach is a walk away, not close. The reception area is outdoors, unlike in the website photos. Not worth the price, and there should be better places nearby.

The staff are lovely and funny, and they let me check out at 2pm because of my late flight. It’s a great spot, just a 3-minute walk from the beach. The hotel is being fully refurbished, and when that’s done it should be a fantastic place at a good price.

It’s comfortable, cheap, and cheerful, so don’t arrive expecting the Ritz. We had a lovely week here while getting some dental work done. The hotel is clearly being upgraded, so things weren’t as organised as they could’ve been, but our room was clean and the food was delicious and really reasonably priced. It was quiet, and we pretty much had the pool and day beds to ourselves. The beach is close and the staff were friendly. Decent for such a cheap place.

Serkan, the hotel director, was especially friendly and funny. The room was clean thanks to the cleaner, and the hotel in general was tidy. We stayed for five days and had a good quality breakfast. There’s also a spa connected to the hotel, and I recommend trying a massage there. Thanks to everyone.
