Nazar Beach Hotel

The location is perfect, honestly hard to put into words. It’s clean and well kept, even if the sofas look dated and the hotel doesn’t feel very modern. The buffet is large and good value, though some dishes seem undercooked and not made with much care.

We got much more than we expected for what we paid. The staff are nice, though their English isn’t very good. There’s a pool with a slide and sea views, and the food changes each time. It’s nothing special, but perfectly okay for an all-inclusive stay. A lovely park and some nice restaurants are within walking distance. I was glad there was a gym, even if it’s very basic. Just be aware there are lots of airplanes, so it may not suit you if you’re sensitive to noise.

The view here is the best I’ve seen in Antalya. Everyone was welcoming, and after checkout they even gave us a room to leave our luggage in. We really enjoyed the food, especially the soups served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room was clean, the AC worked well, and the pool was great. We had a wonderful stay. The whole stay was awful. The staff were rude, the food was appalling, and the pool was dirty. Kids were throwing cups into the water, running around and nearly knocking people over, and going up the slide the wrong way so our child couldn’t use it. When we asked management about a lifeguard, they said one wasn’t needed. We also reported the children’s behavior, but management did nothing and just said kids will be kids. We had a five-year-old with us and were put on the top floor, where the balcony door and windows didn’t lock. There’s also an armed army camp right beside the hotel, with signs saying armed personnel and no cameras. After we got home, my wife and child had severe ear infections, and we had to see doctors. The doctor asked if we’d been on holiday in Turkey, saying they’d seen many people that year with bad eye, ear, and throat infections after returning from Turkey. Think carefully before booking this hotel.
