Ramona Lara Hotel

I loved it. The rooms smelled good, the toilets were clean, and the staff were really good. Very clean place.

The hotel is in a good spot in the heart of Lara district, close to Antalya airport, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was more than reasonable, so I’d recommend it for a short stay. Internet worked most of the time, though it dropped out sometimes. The place could use renovation and a thorough clean. There was a strong dog poop smell at the entrance.

I stayed at the Antalya Romana Hotel from 31.08.24 to 08.9.24, and it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The location gets three stars only because it’s close to Lara Beach. The service was poor from the minute I arrived, and there’s no lift, so you’re going up and down stairs every day. My room was falling apart. The inside of the corridor door had signs of repairs, with foam and such, and the card reader was coming loose, making it hard to insert the card and power the room. The wardrobe had just one handle, only one of the many sockets worked, and the air conditioning was weak even on turbo. The balcony door wouldn’t shut fully and blew open in the night. The fridge was small and didn’t work, the TV had no remote, there was no chair at the vanity table, and the safe wasn’t secure in the wardrobe. There was a dirty duvet in the wardrobe that hadn’t been replaced. There was no regular room cleaning. I had to ask reception for a clean and for fresh towels and sheets. Breakfast offered very little choice too.
