Getting up the mountain takes a good car, since the roads can be quite steep. Once there, you can walk through the tea fields and enjoy the views, with mountains on one side and the Black Sea on the other. The terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast, with scenery that takes your breath away. The owners are lovely and do their best to make guests comfortable, including accommodating extra requests. Each morning they prepare a phenomenal Turkish breakfast with fresh produce from their garden. The rooms are clean and straightforward, each with a little private balcony for taking in the view. One room is an absolute dream, with a small living area, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi, and it’s perfect for four people. This was a wonderful stay in a charming bungalov, with lovely hosts and amazing scenery.

It’s quiet and tucked away from the city, high up among tea plantations, with a lovely view of the surrounding groves and the sea in the distance. The place is clean and the breakfast is decent. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to the city center. There are two ways up. One is good, but the other goes through a residential area and is unpaved, rough, and full of potholes. That route can take up to 20 minutes to reach the top.

The staff were friendly and polite, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. The view is very good, with tea plantations on both sides of the hotel, though we missed the really beautiful part because we couldn’t use the shared roof terrace. I was told the terrace was closed off by guests in the bungalow and wasn’t available to my family and me. I found that attitude very unpleasant. Charging people to close off a shared area is offensive, and I’m firmly against treating customers differently. I’d planned to stay another night, but changed my mind over this. It’s not hard to reach, though the road gets steep and bumpy for a while near the hotel. There’s barely room for two cars out front. Breakfast was adequate, but they could serve more items.
