The entrance to the hotel was a real disappointment when I first saw it. The rooms were the opposite, spotless and newly renovated, and the staff were attentive and polite. There’s no TV in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared by three rooms, but they were clean and worked fine.
The hospitality was really lovely. My one big reservation is the shared bathroom and toilet. Without sharing those, the price would feel fair.
The room was clean and breakfast was good. There was some mold in the bathroom, unfortunately. The hotel owner was easy to reach by phone and speaks German, and the staff at the property speak good English.
Google picked up the Laz word “parpali,” meaning butterfly. That wasn’t my fault :)
For the price, it’s a very good place. The main downside is that there’s no air conditioning.
