The room had a mountain and sea view, and the place was very clean. The staff were super helpful and kind, which you don’t usually find at many tourist hotels. Highly recommended.

Being right on the sea in Arsuz means you can wake up to the view and listen to the waves. It feels like a gift from nature, and honestly a kind of therapy. Mr. Uğur and his wife Mrs. Sema run the hotel, which has been fully renovated with a new concept. The rooms were clean and spacious, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for everything.

The only good part was the friendly receptionist who confirmed our reservation. I left one star because there was no way to rate this properly. As a tourism professional and journalist, I’ve shared what went wrong, and I’ve never made such a bad call in my professional life. My daughter’s lunch was supposed to be pizza, but what arrived was burnt bread with cheese, sloppily made and not really pizza at all. Later, the shower was difficult because the drain was clogged. The hairdryer had lipstick stains from previous guests, and every outlet in the room was hanging out of the wall. The TV also didn’t work when my wife and I tried to watch something before bed. It only had children’s channels available. I called reception but got no help. We packed up and left the room door open, expecting them to call in the morning. Nobody did. They didn’t get in touch until evening, when they apologized. That’s all.

The food was fantastic, so credit to the chef and his team. The pool is quite big, and having a bar right next to it is great. All the staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful. The location is peaceful, with no traffic or pointless crowds, and the rooms are small but functional. The hotel is about 100 meters from the beach. Still, I liked the beach 600 meters to the east better. Breakfast really needs an urgent update, Bormel Hotel. You shouldn’t skimp on it.
