The balcony view was beautiful, and despite seeming far from the island center, we could reach everything in 5-10 minutes. The parking lot is accessed by a dirt road, but it works. Loud music at night may be common across the island, I think. Those were about the only positives. We chose this apartment based on the reviews, but aside from Mr. Alp Aslan being attentive, it didn’t match them at all. The first room had a strong drain odor, so we switched, but the next one still smelled a little. He thought the island wind might be the reason, though I’m doubtful. The bathroom grout and drain were pitch black. When we opened the sofa cover to sleep, we found sand and watermelon seeds, among other things. The trash can had no lid, so on top of the drain smell, we had garbage odors to sleep with. Both rooms had washing machines, but neither worked. The pots and pans were greasy and dirty, the glasses yellowed, and the curtains were dirty. We only stayed one day. They call it a cheap place to stay, and if hygiene doesn’t matter to you, maybe it makes sense.
